Confused by some things.

Just reading UMA, and some things are confusing me. These aren't directly
from the book, but just things that it made me think about.

#1 Do attributes bought as powers have visible effects?
#2 Do abilities built as Aid self-only seem pricy to anyone?

They upped the price of Aid to the point where, IMO, it's not worth the
expense. I'd just as soon buy any stat boosts as a stat with END costs and
such before I'd Aid it. Powers and such, I'd probably go with Succor first.

Aid doesn't cost END.
You have to spend END on Succor every Phase in order to maintain it,
like Suppress in reverse.

The problem was in the prior cost there were easy schemes for turning
it into a 2.5-3x yield with only very rare downsides. It's one of
those cases where there was probably no good pricing, but at least the
current one doesn't tend to be a game breaker.

By default, powers with no END cost are not visible. Therefore, stats
bought as powers aren't inherently visible. It's a rule from the main
book, but I'm afraid I can't quote you a page as I don't have it with
me. However, as I recall, it's in the beginning of the Powers section
before the individual powers are detailed. I want to say that it's in
the section that talks about END cost for powers. If not there, I'm
pretty sure it's near there. If no one posts a page # by the time I
have access to my book again, I'll post it.

That was one of the things recently discussed on the Hero boards as
part of the "Rage Enhanced Strength" thread:
http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18492

Unfortunately, I don't recall any definitive conclusions being drawn.
