I got this game to run in XP by:

1. Downloading a fixed NFS2 exe that runs in win 2000
2. Setting the globalmemorystatuslie to on (the game cant work with page
files that are too big)

The game runs very fast and all, but sound is very "scratchy". Now running
it under windows 95/98 plus the additional globalmemorystatus compatibility
mode results in the sound being perfect, but the game runs horribly slow.
After some experimenting, I realized that having disableboostthread to on
causes the slowdown, but having it off results in the sound glitching, but
having disableboostthread and enable slowcpu both disabled results in the
sound improving marginally, but I dont know what settings are required for it
to be perfect. If someone knows/can find out please tell me.
