i have a video card that has DVI-I (dual link) connectors and my lcd monitor has a DVI-D (dual link) connector. is there a cable i can use to connect them and if so where would be a good place to get one? thanks.

umm... a DVI cable. u can get one anywhere... CompUSA, Circuity City, etc. I recommend getting one online from pricewatch.com or on eBay. Big box stores rip people off w/ cables. And quality isn't really a concern because the signal is pure digital.

When I got my new monitor I got confused with the cables, so found this:

Best to get the DVI-D on both ends so you enjoy the best image quality for your monitor and form your computer.
