I just recieved my Medusa Progamers to use with my Xtremegamer sound board. I have the non-fatality edition.

Not bad headphones allthough they came dented a bit but appear fully functional. They do hurt the ears after 2 hrs as they are heavier than my platronics I replaced. Overall I like theses and will enjoy hopefully enjoy them.

Here is my issue.

I have made all the adjustments I can with the XP console and CL drivers. Bass is set to full blast. Instead of sounding like a boom!!! the bombs and grenades sound like a crack!!!! (2 rocks slapping together). Ive tried disabling CMSS-3D but when doing so, 2 of the channels cut out and only one remains active.

There is no function for "Bass redirection" in my drivers.

There is no function to "cross over frequency" either.

Ide love to get the deep rich bass sound back.

Thanks

Chris

Did you load the drivers that came with the card. I tried using the ones from Creative and they didnt have even half the things in the control panel that the CD drivers had.

Yea I am having some of the same issue, they do hurt my ears after a while. Mind whine when I touch the door to my PC case not sure if that is normal.
