I have an old Dell CRT and its really dim and way too dark to play games on anymore, and I have the brightness setting on max. I need to get a new CRT that wont be giving me this problem anytime soon, so it needs to be as bright as possible. Theres this feature I want where you can increase the brightness farther then the brightness slider allows by presing a button on the front of the monitor. NEC/Mitsubishi used this feature before and they called them Diamondtron Superbright monitors or something like that. Do companies like Sony have anything similar? Ideally I would want a 20 inch or so black Sony CRT that has this feature and is brand new or as close to it as possible. I don't want to order from ebay and newegg doesn't have them. I'm willing to spend up to like $600 if the monitor is actually new.

Also, LCDs are in general really crappy for gaming despite what the people who use them say so I want to avoid those if possible.

Yeah, last I looked AccurateIT still had 22" Mitsubishi/NEC units and 21" Sonys for sale.

They were new/overstock I think. (Stored in bulk, but never used.)
