Diagnose Computer Crash

Hello,
I have a Dell laptop, XPS M1710, it recently crashed while I was watching a video in Youtube. It only runs in safe mode, Gives a message about a failure in a memoory location and then trais to fix itself with noresults. I have found that it is called the blue screen of death, I can not find a way to diagnose what caused and how to fix this. I sertainlly will appreciate any help that you can give me.
