I am planning on purchasing the MSI k8n neo2platinum. I have read the manual. It says I can add ddr300,400,500,533, etc. I plan on buying the 3500+ processor. What do these different memories stand for and what is the perfect match to this new AMD system. I don't know where to start. I am very rusty in memory settings and output.

HELP!!!!!!!

Hehe, it will be up next week. It's being scheduled around other articles:)

How's 2-2-2-5 at DDR433 sound?

I'm not going to give away the entire article, but there are lots of surprises in there, including...who makes the BEST chips? Surprise!

Nope. No need. Remember that TSOP chips or whatever they're called can often go around 300MHz (look at video cards as your example).

Well if they are married to Micron they do now! {smile} I expected Micron chips under the heat-spreaders.

Well then, maybe you'll find Micron chips under the heat spreader! Or maybe you'll just find the fastest chips available! Who knows, maybe Micron makes the fastest chips available, wouldn't that be nice?

BTW, Crucial says "they" make stuff...when I know they're just a store and their PARENT COMPANY makes everything!

Yes. In fact, I could tell you EVERYTHING now, but that would make the REVIEW kind of pointless, not to mention reducing trafic where it's needed.
