I swapped out my ocz memory which btw ran perfect at 2-2-2-5 with my current config but i wanted to try out some corsair memory and now im having nothing but problems.I keep getting random crashes and lock ups i increased the voltage on my memory to +.3. i relaxed the timmings to 3-3-3-5 which is slower than spd,and im still experiencing lockups. Is this type of behavior familiar to anyone?I am wondering if this sounds like a memory problem ? I dont have a floppy drive and no cash at the moment to try mem test 86. I have reinstalled using norton ghost but to no avail.

Memtest86 is free for the d/l. Since you don't have a floppy, can you burn it on a cd?

Sounds like ram is suspect. If you can test it and prove it, I think corsair will replace it. IIRC mine came with a lifetime warranty.

Good Luck with it.

Congratulations! You've now learned what I know. OCZ will run in anything, anytime, anywhere, and the floppy drive is still nice to have! You may have a compatibility problem or just a bad stick.
