Slow SCSI

I just made a Bench. in ATTO and got a very bad result for my SCSI drive.

I have a SCSI Adaptec ultra 160 controler and a SCSI IBM 15.000 RPM Disk.
The Test was made with a transfer size at [o.5 to 1024 kb]
Result 22 MB / Sec

I made the same test with my SATA Maxtor
Result 45 MB / Sec

My sytem i is XP Pro. and i got all the new driver from adaptec but i can not understand why my SCSI is so slow ??

Is the cable terminated properly? Are you using a U160 rated cable? What does the Adaptec card BIOS list as the speed setting for the drive?
