Heya folks, I haven't posted on here for a while because I have been
away from superhero games for about 2-3 years. But I recently got my
gaming group interested in Silver Age Sentinels/The Authority (both
D20 and Tri-Stat.) I really like the game, although frankly I really
like everything Guardians of Order puts out. As everybody is probably
aware, Guardians of Order is in a financial bind right now, so I have
spent more than I can probably afford on their current "Enlightened
Self Interest Sale" on their Web site guardiansorder.com

ANYWAY, the normal SAS book is like $40. However, in the Oddities and
Rarities portion of their online store they have "dark" copies of the
book that are selling for $15! The gist is that some books came back
from the printer too dark for GOO's taste. I got my copy yesterday
that I bought to loan out to players in my game and I am absolutely
thrilled. Yes, the art is a little muddy. But the text is perfectly
readable. And it is less than half the price of the regular edition.
$15 for a full superhero RPG, brand-new, in hardback. Can't beat it
with a stick.

And again, I am just a superhero RPG fan and not affiliated with
Guardians of Order in any way.But if you were put off on trying SAS
because of the high book cost, now is your chance to get in cheap,
cheap, cheap.
