Here's something a little off beat for fun. I love watching Waspinator
getting slagged on the Beast Wars tv series, so here he is.

Explanation of the conversion: I decided to give Waspinator a special
power to allow him to survive things which should normally kill him.

History: Waspinator was a follower of the Predacon criminal Megatron
II. Megatron II stole the golden disk from the Maximals. They were
chased through transwarp space by the Maximal ship Axelon. The Maximals
and Predacons crashed on prehistoric Earth, where high energon levels
threatened to destroy the crew unless they adopted organic alternate
modes. Waspinator was given the form of a wasp (Beast Wars Part 1).

When the spark of Deception Aerospace Commander Starscream found it's
way to ancient Earth, it possessed Waspinator, using his body to
attempt to take over the Predacons. Eventually Starscream's spark was
expelled from Waspinator's body (Possession).

When Megatron II was eventually captured by Optimus Primal and his
Maximals, Waspinator remained on Earth, becoming the king of a tribe of
pre-humans.

Eventually the pre-humans ousted Waspinator, and he returned to
Cybertron. Once on Cybertron Waspinator was captured by Megatron II and
his spark extracted.

When Megatron II decided he needed generals to lead his Vehicon army,
he chose Waspinator's spark to inhabit the body of cycle-drone general
Thrust II.

Like a rattlesnake's tail before an attack, a chilling sound buzzes in
the distance as if to forecast approaching danger. Suddenly from the
sky the giant wasp appears, revealing its monstrous face and bulging
eyes as it streaks down for an aerial attack!

Trivia: On the Beast Wars television show, the voice of Waspinator is
played by actor Scott McNeil. The toy of Waspinator is similar to that
of Buzzsaw. Although there was a transmetal version of Waspinator in
the second year of the toy line, Waspinator never became a transmetal
on the television series.

Powers: Waspinator is a Predacon, a small, highly fuel efficient
Cybertonian. He is reasonably strong and fast. He can fly in either
form thanks to his powerful wings. He carries a mini-missile pistol and
can fire blaster beams from his eyes. He converts into a wasp form
which has a deadly sting and advanced flying ability. He recovers from
damage quicker in beast mode and is better protected from high energon
levels as well.

Waspinator is unusually resistant to being killed. He can be beat up,
blown apart, shredded and battered, and with a little repair he's back
online again.

Weaknesses: Waspinator is universally unlucky, if it can go wrong for
Waspinator, it probably will. Waspinator speaks in a odd buzzing tone,
always speaking of himself in the third person and tends to describe
others by their looks other than their name, making other see him as
less intelligent then he is. He lacks ranged weapons in beast mode.
High energon fields can adversely effect Waspinator if he stays in
robot form for too long. His animal form is protected from high energon
levels.
