Hello. This is my first post here. I have a LG Electronics L204WT Monitor. It is a digital widescreen with a native resolution of 1680*1050. The problem is, I can only achieve a resolution of 1600*900. I have tried adding custom resolutions, but it says "This custom resolution cannot be added". I have a stock Geforce 7800 GTX with 256 MB of RAM. Is there anyway around this problem, or am I stuck with it? I would think that the 7800 would have no troubles, or is it a monitor issue?

Aside from a hardware hack that I don't know of, you can't do it. The resolutions you're stuck in are video card dependent.

Assuming that you have installed the NVIDIA drivers from nvidia.com...
Go to Control Panel > NVIDIA Control Panel > Display > Manage Custom Timings > Create...

Thanks for the info, but it will still not let me create a custom resolution of 1680*1050.
