I've loaded Windows xp on to this Toshiba L300D-01N (PSLC8C-01N019) and have all the drivers working except for the hotkey functions. The website offers nothing but vista drivers and I've googled this issue to death. I've even contacted Toshiba support and was told that the warranty would be void if XP was left on the laptop (which is stupid considering all that has to be done is reloading the vista recovery disc). I've even tried loading the xp hotkey programs from other toshiba sites (europe, asia, etc) for similar models (the psl model # is slightly different) but an error message immediately appears saying something to the effect of Toshiba common component not found.
Anyone out there have any ideas?
