OR

Intel® Core™2 Extreme Quad QX9300 2.53GHz (12MB Cache, 1066MHz FSB) ---WITH---

PLEASE GANG I WILL DECIDE WITHIN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS. IT IS FOR MY NEW MOBILE VIDEO/EDITING BUSINESS.

THANKS.

You really don't need two graphics cards for video editing. Video editing applications aren't GPGPU ready yet. They won't give you any advantage over one, and will only do work in HD playback. The stronger quad core with more RAM will be better.

Hey frozenlead, i am pretty sure that i am going to go with SAGER laptop. I am going to be talking to a rep at SAGER in CA, regarding putting together a high end laptop. Now you say, don't blow the money on the dual Nvidia GeForce 9800M GTX Graphics with 1GB DDR3 Video Memory in SLI mode, so if I go single card and don't blow my money on dual I will good just as well? If not, I will use the money to add the blu-ray burner drive.

Dual cards are definitely not going to help at all in terms of video editing.

That Q9650 CPU ion the other hand is great for it.

The QX9300 is strong for a laptop cpu but will get smoked by the q9650 in everything BUT battery life.

If Possible you should ask the sager rep if you can get the Q9650S as it should improve battery life and run cooler.

Dual is not going to help. Period.

Try for the new C2Q S editions as they are more energy efficient.
QX is unnecessary...only morons overclock laptops.

And im pretty sure BluRay burner is more required for a video editing business than a massive GPU setup which is totally unnecessary.

Well, I guess the quadro would be better for me, especially since I will be working with numerous 3D effects and I need the rendering power to finish off the work asap. Thanks.
