I bought a Toshiba 50HM66 50" DLP as well as a HTPC to go with it. What sort of refresh rates should I be using to make sure that my tv won't crap out on me. I figure that is why the manual for the television says that you should not use a PC with the tv.
My current settings are as follows for 720P:
Horizontal pixels:
Front Porch 112, Back porch 280, Sync polarity +, Front end active 1216, sync width 40, Scan rate 24.72kHz, Back end active 1216
Vertical Lines:
Front porch 20, back porch 262, Sync polarity +, Front end active 1352, sync width 14, Refresh rate 15.00Hz, Back end active 1352
Interlaced mode enabled, Pixel clock: 40.74MHz
Also is their any benefit to using an DVI-HDMI cable over the component?
