I have 2 questions. First, does anyone know of any good online sources for laptop CPU upgrades? Second, is a CPU upgrade even possible on a laptop where the CPU is soldered to the motherboard.

If anyone could help me on this it would be much appreciated :).

Having a thing is not nearly as pleasing as wanting it. It is illogical but it is often true.

To answer the second question the answer would be no. It would be nearly impossible to unsolder all the pins without killing something. And even then there is no guarantee that a different CPU would work properly in it.
