I have a question: The OCZ EB Platinum Series 2x512MB PC3500 DDR CL2.5 and the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum, do they match or will it give me problems like in this review of another OCZ: http://www6.tomshardware.com/motherboard/20040602/memory_modules-24.html

I need to know because i want to buy a new pc that will last at least a couple of years. This is what i have so far, if you guys have any ideas on what to buy and what not to buy, i would love to hear it. This PC will be used for games like Doom3 and Half-Life2, and i will use some programs to build maps for HL2 (im a mapper for a HL2 modification):
512MB x 2 (1GB) PC3500 DDR CL2.5 (OCZ EB Platinum Series)
AMD Athlon 64 FX-53 (S939, 2.4GHz, 1MB, Boxed)
Gainward GeForce 6800 Ultra PowerPack Ultra2600 Golden Sample (256MB)
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum, nForce 3 Ultra (Sound, LAN, SATA-RAID, 1394)
Western Digital 36GB (Raptor WD360GD, 10.000rpm, 8MB, SATA) (C: drive for windows etc)
Western Digital 73GB (Raptor WD740GD, 10.000rpm, 8MB, SATA) (D: drive for other stuff)
Edited by DeathClock on 08/05/04 06:20 PM.
