That is to say: can one of the erudite players of Hero 5 tell me where
in the Big Book of Hero 5th edition, or better yet the Hero System
Sidekick, the disadvantage or limitation or whatever is located that
negates superpowers-Kryptonite, in other words? Thank you one and all!

You can use Physical Limitation: looses powers around Kryptonite
(Infrequently, Fully Impairing)
Plus Susceptibility: In the presence of Kryptonite, 3d6 damage per
Phase (Uncommon)

or some thing like it

Yes, but that's a terrible exercise in bookkeeping that I would
strongly recommend against.
