I just got a Viewsonic 19" g90fb.

With an Nvidia 6800 ultra, I wanted to run 3D applications at 800x600 @ 100 Hz.

I searched and searched for ways to set 3D refresh rate overrides, and came upon a pretty popular program called "refresh force."

I downloaded the small program, ran it, and set my 800x600 refresh rate an entire 50 HZ BELOW THE MAXIMUM (max was 150 Hz) just to be completely safe. After restarting my computer, NO 3D APPLICATIONS WILL RUN AT 800x600, at all.

I feel like a complete moron for using the program, but I'm kinda stuck right now. I don't know what to do or how to fix this. Reformatting would be a pain, but I might resort to this if I have to.

Any suggestions on how to properly do a 3D refresh rate override on an nvidia card would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
