Chose the Quad for work, the dual for games.

 

edit: Eh, didn't see the screen res. 1920x1200 on 17" is really nice looking...

think im gonna get the P9500 2.53GHz for gaming...but i also want screen res. 1920x1200 :X

I would probably take the quad notebook. The only advantage the dual has is gaming, and, let's face it, you'll use that display on more things than just game. The display is more important.
