Hey guys, i need some help here. I want to buy myself a notebook. I need it for my job - 3dmax, maya, autocad, photoshop etc.

So which is the best:

HP EliteBook 8530w (FU461EA):

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.40GHz, 3MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
Chipset: Intel PM45 Express
RAM: 4GB DDR2
HDD: 250GB, 7200rpm SATA, HP 3D DriveGuard
Display: 15.4" WSXGA+ Wide Viewing Angles, Non-glare
Resolution: 1680x1050 точки
Video: ATI Mobility FireGL (FirePro) V5700, 256MB

Toshiba Satellite Qosmio F50-Hw

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8400 (2.26GHz, 3MB L2 cache, 1066MHz FSB)
Chipset: Intel PM45 Express
RAM: 4GB DDR2-800MHz (1+2 GB)
HDDк: 250GB, 7200rpm, 16 MB cache SATA
Display: 15.4" Toshiba WXGA+ CSV High Brightness TruBrite
Resolution: 1440x900 пиксела
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 9700M GTS с 512MB GDDR3 видеопамет

SONY VAIO VGN-FW21Z

I'd probably get the HP - best all around.

The Sager NP5793 is also a very powerful choice, with a beast GPU and the best screen out of all of these. Outfitted with a 2.5GHz CPU, it can best all of these units for under $1550. (Which google tells me is under 1300 euro)

The FireGL will be best for 3dsmax.

What's your budget?

Hmm.. this Sager looks nice, but its a bit unknown unit for me. I'm not sure that The Sager is more technical promising in comparison with HP... :?

What do you think?

Considering I own an NP5793, I can presonally attest to it's outstanding quality and performance. Crushes all the notebooks I've encountered in my dorm - all games, high settings (and I happen to live near a few halls that game...a lot.).

In terms of more professional arts, I do web design (which is hardly tasking), 3d map creation, and audio editing, and the machine won't flinch during any of them. It also runs really cool - during most gaming sessions, my friend's machines keyboards are unbearably hot - but mine is the same temp as when we started.
