Hi, I have this Acer Aspire 1680 which have 3 USB port. When I plug my mouse into port #1, the optic light under the mouse works, but the mouse is not detected by Windows and the mouse doesnt work. Same thing happen for port #2, and if I use port #3 then there is no light at all, the mouse doesnt seem to be powered. Could it be some drivers problem ? Im thinking something material inside the laptop is broken...

Anything else I should check ?

Go to the Acer web page and see if they have USB drivers. If so, download and install. Otherwise go into device manager and see what version drivers are under the USB port icon.
