No internet connection on my tablet

Hello,
We just purchased an ASUS 300 tablet. Last week I called Century Link and they walked me through getting it connected to our wireless modem. Now, however, when I turn it on I cannot get past the first screen. It shows a lock and says that I have no internet connection. What should I do? This is my first experience with a tablet so I am not very knowledgeable with it yet.

When you want to access a wireless network you have to enter in the password of the network in order to get service. There's no other way around it , a password has to be entered. If you click on the lock it will bring up a login screen and that's where you put the password.
You will have to call Century Link back and explain to them that you have a lock preventing you from accessing the internet if the password is not working.
