I have a Gateway YG2 notebook with has a display that goes snowy, jittery, and shows a few electronic horizontal lines after running for 10- 15 minutes. Manipulation of the case seems to fix the problem temporarily. Active video somewhat overides the problem. Inverter cable connections have been checked. External monitor display always fine. Could this be heat/ground/short or inverter/cable/backlight, or something else? Any advice offered would be greatly appreciated.
