Hello

I'm thinking of buying a big new monitor. Since space is not an issue, I might buy a Samsung SyncMaster 1100DF (CRT 21).

But in case I buy the Hyundai L90D+ (to cause me less eyestrain than a CRT), it says that only allows 75 hz in analog mode (That is with the VGA sub 15 cable right? or does it allow 75hz in DVI-A?)

I want to use DVI because I've read that has better quality. But a guy wrote that I can only get the 8ms response time in analog mode.

Is this true? because I don't want to have to change from DVI to VGA sub 15 everytime I feel like playing!

thanks

No the 8ms RT is for the panel and isn't dependant on the connection to the video adapter.
I don't know where the 75hz came from or where you heard it because this panel works at 60hz.
I would check out the other thread in this forum because there were many devoted to the L90D+, you may have to go back to threads from February.

Ok, that's what I thought so (the 8ms isn't dependant on the connection).

The 75hz came from the monitor specifications on:
http://www.hyundaiq.com/pro_l90d+.asp#

Max. Resolution (Analog) 1280 x 1024 @ 75Hz
----------------------
Factory Preset Modes
Analog 720 x 400 @ 70 Hz
640 x 480 @ 60/75 Hz
800 x 600 @ 56/60/72/75 Hz
832 x 624 @ 75 Hz
1024 x 768 @ 60/70 Hz
1280 x 1024 @ 60/75 Hz

Anyway I'll take a look at the other threads about this monitor.

Thanks
