I've got a problem with my notebook(Acer Aspire 6530). When I play video games with while my battery is used I get better fps than when it's plugged into power ... Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Waiting for a solution in anticipation.
Notebooks aren't designed to game on battery. They reduce clockspeeds in order to save power while using batteries. The only way to fix this is to plug your computer in.
He said that FPS is low when plugged in, while the laptop is on battery FPS is good.I have the same problem (I have a Aspire 6530 too) and I tried everything...Please help cuz its very annoying.Thx

Are both of you on high performance profiles when plugged in? What happens when you use your machine without the battery in it?
Well it all seems ok on settings on the profiles, btw the operating system is vista, and it's all good in theory but when I use it in practice (e.g. games) the fps is better when it's on battery than when it's plugged into power and that's pretty annoying...
Don't have time now, but I'll do that tomorrow and post it, thanks for the note.
Don't have the laptot atm, so i can't do that... btw this will explain it a bit better - when I play undercover or stalker(at relatively high settings) it is unplayable but while playing the game when I unplug the power cable it gains a great boost in fps
