The answer to both is "yes, but not for a few weeks" -- we're currently two
days away from our final exams, and so won't be able to work on it for another
fortnight. Make that 15 days to allow for post-exam celebrations

A recent news post at http://www.bits.bris.ac.uk/zinc/ should have some
indication of other areas we plan to improve over the coming months.
