Urgent PC help needed.

Hello,

I'm not sure if I am in the right section of the forum however, I am hoping you can help me out.

I bought a new computer from Cyberpower about five months ago which ran beautifully up till now. I went to turn it on to only to recieve the following error:

Unmountable_Boot_Volume

***Stop : 0X000000ED (0XFFFFFA8007136CD0,0xFFFFFFFC0000056,0x000000000000000,0x00000000000000)

I do have the Cyberpowerpc recovery media cd however, there is no option to factory reinstall.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

* If I could reinstall windows on another partition I would, however I am not sure how to do so. I have an SSD as well if that helps...

Hi

Assuming your Windows drive is Sata not SSD...run a hard drive test in DOS...HIRENS CD etc...

Would someone be able to guide me on how to do this?

Also, when I used the recovery cd just to see if I would be able to re install windows (didn't do anything yet) it asked me to select the windows drive which it showed as e: 0mb. When the computer was working fine, I was only using the c: and i: for installations and such...

I have been trying to search for some answers online and can't find anything that would help (or maybe I didn't understand it).

Would I just be ok installing windows on a different drive or partition?
