Hello,
I am simply trying to hook up with wireless internet in house where I am. This 192.168.33.1 code is supposed to lead me to the Cisco logon page where I enter a password which then connects to the internet. Name of wireless: lucky sycamore, for what it is worth. This laptop keeps going offline when it should not as the wireless goes on continuously, right? I just had the laptop worked on for connectivity to the same wireless network. Is someone else controlling the computer and connectivity such that knowing my password is simply lipservice to internet and computer privacy? Paranoia, in my opinion.

The 192.168.33.1 is not a correct login address for a router. It should be something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 , the router login address will also be on the bottom of the router or in the owners manual or even on the support web page of th router.
