No, it's not worth the price.

I don't trust that guy anyway:
1) his pics are $hit
2) he claims that "Unless you want to dish out 3k+ for a 2.6 Duo Core Processor, your going to have a "tough" time finding a faster processor" which is a load of rubbish.
3) He claims that COD4 runs well on a GeForce 6800. My brother has one of those cards in his system......it doesn't run well at all.

This guy is off his rocker asking $600 for that. it's worth maybe $400 at best. considering I can get (assuming I don't buy sager or something) a VERY nice gaming laptop from HP for about $2100 with the new mobile quad core and a dedicated 512MB 9600GT and 500GBHD with Blu Ray and a 18.4 or 19 inch screen (can't remember exactly) buying something this old isn't even worth considering and that's $2100 CDN btw so take off about 20-25% if paying USD

yeah, that sucks major
my sager i'm buying has a duo core 2 2.5ghz, 4 gigs ram, 320 7200rpms hard drive, and a geforce 9600m gt for $1200 after shipping..

that one is terrible, i wouldn't pay 300 for it

LMFAO winning bid was $750 USD whoever paid that probably say the name Alienware didn't even bother looking at the specs and bid. Well you know what it was said is born once a minute, that's right AN IDIOT!

Well, my only thought is they wanted to buy it cheap and do some upgrading on it. That Alienware unit is the Clevo D900 chasis which can now use desktop Core2's and 9800M cards. Assuming he found the right motherboard for it, he'd have a decent system for *possibly* less. Otherwise, that was just FAIL.

It was probably someone like us who was just screwing around and bidding only to drive the price up and get some laughs. I highly doubt whoever won the auction will actually pay.
