HDMI cable between computer and tv.

Hello, i have connected a hdmi cable between my hd tv and into my acer aspire ax1800 hard drive, nothing comes up on tv , either on pc or hdmi2 source. Can someone out there please explain to me what else i need to do. Many Thanks Gibby.

One thing that you can check t the input on the tv and make sure that you haven't pluged it into the tuner input and you want to make sure it's connected to one of the AV inputs where you have to select video 1 , video 2 or video 3.
If the computer only has the intergrated graphics and not an additional video card then there can be no mistake there.
Do you get video with a computer monior or were you planning on using the tv as the monitor ?
