Folder that keeps coming back!!??!!

This is more of a strange occurance than an annoyance but I thought maybe
someone has a solution to this one...

Some time back I created a new folder in My Documents. Amongst other files,
this folder contained at least one sub-folder, which also contained at least
one sub-folder and some files.

Once I finished working on whatever i was working on at the time, using this
folder and its contents, I decided to delete it all, since it was no longer
required. Surely enough it went into the recycle bin, of which I subsequently
emptied the contents.

The next day, when I switched my pc on, to my surprise the folder was back
in My Documents, with no files contents, but a sub-folder, and a
sub-sub-folder...

Ever since I have tried to get rid of it but it back each time I switch the
pc on or do a re-start........

I've tried to change its attributes as it said read-only but that didn't
make any difference at all....

It's a weird one to me!!!

Which application did you use when you saved to the Folder tree ?
Many applications will remember and assign a default save path &
the next time you use that application it may re-create the tree.
( Could explain why tree exists, but no content saved within it ).

I just did the usual right-click New Folder routine, and the same within the
folder to create the subfolders. I didn't use anything in particular. All my
folders are created in the way, and I have deleted some others with no
problems in the past....

What happens if you delete the sub folders first instead of all at once?
Also, try NOT sending it to the Recycle Bin by hitting Shift and Del at the
same time after selecting the folder.

I have tried to delete the subfolders first and then to delete the main
folder but that did not work either.

I am in the middle of something at the moment but I'll try the Shift/Del
button trick as well in a minute and see if that does the trick...I'd not
thought about that one. Thanks.

Folder now gone for good...just with Shift/Del....Why didn't I think about it
myself?!? Anyway that's me happy, Thanks a lot
