I have my laptop selections down to two. Which one is the better laptop?

1. Acer Aspire AS6530

2. ASUS F50SV-X1


I am pretty sure the Core 2 Duo is a better CPU, but that Acer is sexy.

Please let me know your thoughts or if something else is a better bang for the buck.

The acer will come out stronger in gaming, but more CPU intensive apps will like the Intel CPU on the Asus.

What are you planning to do with it?

I will use it for work when I travel, watch movies via the HDMI and some gaming. I play Medieval Total War II and WoW. My wife will use it for wireless email and browsing when I am home working on my home PC. I realize they are probably both more then I need but with a laptop you need to future proof a bit to keep it relevant.

They are almost identical, obviously. I would go towards the Acer. Nice processor, chipset, and GPU.
