I have two cd-rom drives and my first drive has lots of popping and crackling on it and the second one was fine. The CD Audio cables have no affect on the music, it still plays from both drives even when disconnected. I thought all CD audio went through those cables? Muting both digital and analog cd audio from the windows or creative volume control has no affect. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.
