I've got a few monitors to choose from and my budget is in the $100-$150 range....
Philips 109P40 19" 1920x1440, .24mm
NEC MultiSync FE772BK 19" .25mm
KDS 19in .26mm 1600x1200 75Hz
HP S9500 19" 1600 x1200 0.26mm 75Hz

I'm leaning towards the Phillips right now, but the price makes me a little suspicious...

Be sure to check the refresh rate and make sure it is high enough at the resolution you will be using.
Also, I'd personally prefer a flat Trinitron or NEC Diamondtron tube.

Also, you may be able to get a used (working) CRT locally for half the price at craigslist.com.
