What is the best DDR memory speed for over clocking ?

I assume you mean for overclocking the CPU? Depends on what CPU you are using.

It depends on HOW FAR you want to overclock. Crucial Ballistix PC4000 has great latency timings, which impart a performance benefit. I know this RAM can exceed PC4000 speed but my system can't...so I don't know how far.

If you were to use PC4400 then your CPU will need to be able to reach 4.1Ghz..this is very unlikly without watercooling or vapochill.

Unlikely to go a lot further than 3.2-3.4 on air anywayz...

Prescott overclocks better than the northwood, 3.4-3.6 is the highest on air for northwood but prescott can get a little higher on air normally...that is if it doesnt melt through your case first.

PC4000 is fast enough for your processor clocked at 3.75GHz synchronously. I'd go with Crucial Ballistix PC4000.

Don't bet your lunch on it. I think this thing will do 3.75ghz if I want to get greedy and suffer CAS3 timings!
