ive had troubles with connecting to servers in steam games...such as tf2...i will find a server and then when i click on it it stays at parsing game info for like ten minutes and never goes anywhere

Could this problem also be caused from me switching networks...I am usually at my house plugged in but i just moved to my moms housefor vacation and her internet sucks...anyway is it the internet or a hardware problem or a steam problem.
