$2,000 Rig LCD

I am buying a new rig for Vista/New games, and my $2K comp consists of:
Core 2 Duo E6600, eVGA 8800GTS, Asus P5B Deluxe, and the works...

I am selecting a monitor, and I will play games (highly intensive, i.e. Oblivion, Battlefield 2142, FEAR, Prey, Medieval2, Guild Wars, Far-Cry, HL2.

I will also do some amateur photo/video editing on photoshop, and will watch some DVDs.

I have rounded the choices to 2 LCDs by Samsung -

The 204B

And the 204BW

I need advice on going widescreen or not, and also, just direct comparison of the two monitors

  1. The 204b is a TN panel and may not be as good for image editing due to limited viewing angles which causes color shift even if you always view the monitor from the front.
  2. the 204bw isn't?
