I am buying a new rig for Vista/New games, and my $2K comp consists of:
Core 2 Duo E6600, eVGA 8800GTS, Asus P5B Deluxe, and the works...

I am selecting a monitor, and I will play games (highly intensive, i.e. Oblivion, Battlefield 2142, FEAR, Prey, Medieval2, Guild Wars, Far-Cry, HL2.

I will also do some amateur photo/video editing on photoshop, and will watch some DVDs.

I have rounded the choices to 2 LCDs by Samsung -

The 204B
20.1 Inch Full Screen

And the 204BW
20" WIdescreen

I need advice on going widescreen or not, and also, just direct comparison of the two monitors

ThanksXD

The 204b is a TN panel and may not be as good for image editing due to limited viewing angles which causes color shift even if you always view the monitor from the front.
