i have this delllaptop with windows vista that does a blue screen crash and restarts at least 4 times within an 8 hour day--help what to do?dell support is bad and dont help

Run a hard disk/memory diag from the Ultimate Boot CD. See what comes up.

Hi, my Inspiron 1501 had very similar problems which I finally tracked down to problems caused by the dead battery. Try booting without the battery present. If all works fine then its definitely the battery causing the problem and you will solve your problems by replacing the battery. Good luck!
