Hello,
How can I format my sony vaio notebook Y series VPCYB15AG?

If this is the hard disk you are talking about, you can format it by clicking on the drive in My Computer and pressing Format. If your OS is on the drive, it will get erased. Another way would be to boot into a Windows installation and reformat your hard disk from there. Then you can run a clean install of windows. Hope this helps.
