Windows 7 64bit

am having windows 7 64 bit dell laptop ,some of the programms compatible with windows xp are not functioning with windows 7 can u help me

what programs??

all-round solutions:
-find newer versions of the programs
-run in compability mode (right click on exe, then properties, then compability, then you pick xp)
-google your program together with the words "windows 7" (or vista) and search for solutions

not all the 32 bit application will work on win 7 64 bit, especially old software in 64 bit, you have to get the updated version of the software with win 7 64 bit compatibility
