I'm looking at these 2 monitors for a gaming computer, I mainly play Tribes and I'm worried it will look like crap. I'm researching these wide screens and it seems if you have a decent video card (I'm building a computer with a 7950GT) then it's not a problem.

I really would like a widescreen to replace my 17 inch CRT viewsonic for this new computer I'm building but I don't want alot of headaches with things streatched out and looking like crapola.

get the 2030wm. there is very little difference between the two so go for it on price alone. you won't miss the difference in size too much i wouldn't imagine.

as to the widescreen, games that support it are fine. also, as long as you maintain aspect ratio when using non native res's it should look fine especially using AA.
