Hi there.
Can anyone help me. I am looking into upgrading my memory to 2x 512mb ddr-sdram 433mhz.
I currently have 1x 512mb ddr-sdram 433mhz

My system is
amd athlon 3000xp barton
Abit nf7-S2g
120gbyte western digital Sata HD
Radeon 9800xt graphics card
Sb audigy soundcard
OS. Win xp

The reason I ask is because I just bought doom3 and was wondering if the extra memory might in any way increase the performance??.

Yes it will help overall. A gig of RAM for gaming is becoming standard now, and XP can use all the RAM you give it (no limitations like in win98 etc).

I take it you o/c, or why else do you have 433Mhz DDR RAM?
