About ready to replace my Abit IT7 MB.

Components I have to switch into the new MB are:
* Sockett 478 Pent4 2.8ghz cpu(new)
* BFG 6800Gt nVidia vid card(new)
* 2 512 sticks of Corsair memory...
1 stick says: xms 3200 v 1.1(02204) (20-145-405)
other stick says: xms 3200 v 5.1 (0429090-4) 400mhz 3338
* WD 80 gig HD
* PC Power & Cooling 510 Deluxe PS(new)
* Santa Cruz sound
* Maxtor Ext USB2 backup one-touch HD(new)
* Antec large case w/ 2-in and 2-out fans
*Win XP-Pro

Questions:
Leaning towards the Asus P4C800E MB...

With that in mind, will the Corsair memory get the job done on this MB?

Are both these sticks of memory the same?

What heatsink/fan combo would be the best for this cpu?

If I was to replace my HD, which serial-ATA is getting the best reviews lately?

Rig will be for OC'd gaming with my son...

Thx for any help/suggestions...

Since this is the memory forum:

I assume you have an "800" bus P4? Do you want to overclock?

Your memory will probably run only the slowest timings in dual channel mode, and might not even do that. I'd try it. If you plan on overclocking, I'd suggest Crucial Ballistix PC4000.
