As the subject suggests, every time i "do something" related to my file
system, such as;
- Map a network drive (be it via a command line using "net use" or using
explorer's "Map Network Drive" )
- Insert/remove a cd/dvd
- Insert/remove a USB drive

For some reason these things "refresh" all of my open Internet Explorer
windows. So for example, if i'm writing an email in Hotmail, and flick over
to Windows Explorer and map the Z: drive to a network server, the Hotmail IE
windows "refreshes", just as though i've hit the "refresh" icon, and of
course I lose the email I was writing.

I'm using an Acer Travelmate 530 laptop, with Windows XP with SP2 installed.

This is a real pain, and I can't get it to happen on any other XP pc's that
i've checked. Is it an option somewhere I can turn off??
