Hi

I have a friend with a HiGrade Laptop, not sure of specs. It wont power on at all, either with just battery or with AC power. No lights nothing at all.

Is it likely the motherboard is frazzled or could it be something internal such as ram come loose, or maybe cmos battery is faulty?

Remove the battery and make sure the AC adapter is still working with a multimeter.
