A programme keeps freezing my screen, it does come up with a message to
empty the programme cache if this happens, as this seems to be the problem
can I set the cache higher to try and avoid it freezing?
and how would I do this?

thanks

Hi

Which particular program is freezing your system? Also have a look in the
Event Viewer and if you see any 'Errors', could you please post the Event ID
and Source?

Which program?
Open Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer

check there if you get any clue.

'How to troubleshoot by using the System Configuration utility in
Windows XP'

Its `google earth` a satelite programme, probably quite high on graphic
usage.
I run the event viewer and this information came up (don`t know what it
means though)

`warning 6/7/2005 service control manager none 7036 N/A rentals-g`

and

`Error 6/7/2005 sevice control manager none 7000 N/A rentals-g

The error comes up several times with various nos 7000, 7009, 7036, 7034,
7031,

I don`t know if i am looking in the right place but thats the only part I
can find where it states a warning or error.
