I was thinking of buying the medusa 5.1, but since I have no surround output on my lappy, I am leaning towards the Ares. Additionaly, one reviewer thought the USB version hogs the CPU too much, so the USB version is out of the question.

Due to lack of reviews for this particular model online, I was wondering if anyone here has experience with this one? How does it compare to the 5.1? I know it has no surround, but is the clearness/response comparible? Thanks!
