Hard Drive Problem

I am getting the following error when moving files from hdd to another. Data error: cyclic reduncy check. Does this mean that my drive is busted? This was a secondary drive that was used for storage. The volume says basic and not dynamic. Could this be a problem as well...?????

You must have the polarity reversed on your powerconnector, and the drive is spinning backwards.
Just turn the drive over...
