so out of the blue my internet stopped working and only mine (our house has 3 computers). i am the only one hooked up wit ha cable and i have tried 3 different cables, it keeps telling me the same thing "install a driver for your network adapter"

so i went to the device manager and tried updating the driver of the network adapter but its telling me its up to date....

i have no idea what to do :(

the small text says word by word :

"Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. if you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver."

check if in device manager your network adaptor has a turn off this device to save power option in the power management section

if it has untick it then restart pc

also try restarting your router

last resort uninstall the adaptor in device manager then scan for hardware changes and it should re-install it

dont tell it to delete the driver when doing the last one

i dont have a "turn off this device to save power" option anywhere

im hooked up directly to my modem and i already tryed reseting it twice

i uninstalled all the adaptors i could but there are some that wont uninstall then i did the scan for hardware changes and nothing noticable happened

restarting computer now

EDIT: atfer restart im still getting the same thing.
